How do I screw with my previous employer?

I say set fire to the basement and watch it burn, then go to Mexico and complain about the drinks.

"Excuse me? Excuse me, senor? May I speak to you please? I asked for a mai tai, and they brought me a pina colada, and I said no salt, NO salt on the margarita, but it had salt on it, big grains of salt, floating in the glass..."
"Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart."

Sneak in to the office and pour ELAX into the coffee grounds (use chocolete), then go into the stalls in the bathroom and lock them from the inside and crawl underneith the doors. Do the same for the ladies!

I did this in the miltary but fessed up, and had to clean up both bathrooms with a toothbrush. This ones for you MSGT Callahan!!! LOL

Piece of advice my friend. Don't ever burn bridges. You might need a recomendation for another job from this company/boss. Or.. what if, in the future, you might want to go back to work for this company? Better just to let it go man! Yeah, it was shitrty the way they did you.. but just keep on marching..forget about the.. something lies ahead better for you! good luck.

There was a guy in my old office who went on long-term disability after the short-term expired. My company wasn't able to back-fill his position. You don't get LTD? In Massachusetts? :o

Either way, I probably wouldn't be tinkering with anything re: the job posting. Even if you meant fun by it.

What sucks is that it will likely take him another month to find someone, plus another 7-14 after that. By then, it will have been 6 weeks. Too bad he can't think that far ahead and rough it out longer.

Then again, with the job market starting a notable positive trend, you might be able to get something better? What do you do anyway?
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Plotting revenge will do you no good. It will only fill your soul with ugliness. You need to be filling your mind and soul with good, positive thoughts about your future and you should be making plans as to how you're going to achieve all of your goals.

In the end, it's always better to hold your head high and have dignity and class.

I concur. The past is over, what happens in the future is the only part of your life that matters.

Rent a box from 'mailboxes ect..."

Start sending 'mail' from 'Joe Schmo Attorney at Law' :P
to them requesting your personnel records...
attendance records...ect.

Request appointment times for
'deposition and statements' :o

...Note to those interested; :)
ALWAYS have a home supply of 'Company Stationary'
on hand...

The FUN you can have! ;)

{{{ Not anything wrong about this one }}}
- Ask for a recomandation for a job at your former companys worst competitor. That will get their attention.

{{{ anoying things to do }}}
- You got your bosses email....how much spam does he get? Perfectly legal and untraceable, even unreversible. Just type in his email at a few porn sites, etc.

{{{ The moral thing to do ... well depends... }}}
- If you know of any illegal things going at your former employer...remember that as a good citizen you should report it to the police. (tax fraud, piracy software...).

{{{ Slightly evil }}}
- Call in an anonymous drug tip the next time your boss is going to Thailand (or somewhere).

{{{ Real evil }}}
Assuming your former boss is married. Send him anonymously roses home periodically. Spray a little womens perfume in his car. Call and hang up a coupple of times from a phone booth.
His wife will probably suspect he is having an afair...

{{ more evil }}}
Sleep with his wife.

{{{ surreal }}}
Order a pizza with fish, curry, ham and jalepenos delivered to his door sunday morning at 07am.
Pay for the pizza, but do it anonymously. You don't want to punish the poor pizza guy. Repeat once every 6 or 12 months.

There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I take it you all agree that going postal isn't the best way to go?:P

I know I don't always come off as the most conservative person here but I have to say, Chris, harming others never pays off.. Never. Leave it alone and focus on positives. As others have said.. don't burn the bridge. You may need it someday.

If you think about revenge, you are thinking about how mad you are. You end up reliving the anger all the time. Your past screws up your present. Let it go.

Move on to something better. If you get a job for more money, think of it as a raise that you wouldn't have go if you stayed. When an interviewer asks how much you made at your old job, add 5%.

hehe...

cruelest thing I did to my old boss was quit.

within three weeks, both leasing agents quit, three maintenence guys quit, and the assistant manager put in notice.

Out of everyone who leased, I had 48 new leases, and the next closest person had seven. Of course, this meant that I had seven times more work than the next guy, and didn't get paid much more, because the ass of a supervisor I had would take away our commission for something as stupid as a typo in the file. (he thought if he didn't pay us as much, it made his bottom line look better... what he was actually doing was taking away our incentive to lease, so he actually made LESS than if he'd have paid us like he was supposed to). The jerk also violated so many fair housing laws that if the dept of HUD found out, he'd be in so much shit....

within a month, 8 out of 13 staff members quit. And gee... corporate wondered WHY... and made a couple of phone calls to former employees...

I just found out the old boss has now reinlisted in the Navy and is currently swabbing decks (or something equally demeaning) on a ship bound for the middle east. He was fired for violating fair housing laws and for a "lack of managerial skills"

We didn't have to go out of our way to make trouble for him. We just took reasonable actions to remove ourselves from the situation, and his actions came back to bite him in the ass.

aaahhhh... Karma.

ultimate revenge.. get a paint scraper kind used to screape paint or wallpaper of a wall then goto bosses car and slide it between the window on the door and the rubber seal then squish about 3 shrimps/prawns into the actual doorframe of the car clean n wipe up mess.. in few days the smell is unbearable specially here in florida u can clean the car try everything but unless u replace the door u will never get rid of the smell...
always worked a treat for me.....
