I do recommend trying it, though it's supposedly very different than flying in the sky. About my rig...my lateral straps are too huge (which causes my rig to shift like crazy away from the rest of my body) and my leg straps are too huge. (They fall to my knees in a "sit"...even with a bungee.) I have to downsize canopies (at least a 120 or smaller) to have the smallest rig out there, even then I still have to have it custom made to fit. (I have no damn hips.) Anyway, I even asked Greg G. his opinion, and he agreed with others' opinion (and my own) that I should wait to FF with a rig that will not "shift" (and fall off...lol!). I kind-of found that out myself, too...cutaway... There are plenty of friends that I know, who FF exclusively and love head- down most. Maybe they can jump with you, and, at some point, we can all do some nice hybrids.
