DickMcMahon 0 #103 February 11, 2004 QuoteQuoteBut, could use some suggestions ... yea, someone already suggested "Big ______". Heehee, that was me! What a surprise that my mind would be in the gutter like that, huh? I still vote for Big Dick. OK, Andrea. I'll give it a try whenever the system allows changes in user names. But it may not stay that way for long if the DZ gives me too much grief. It's a little bit egotistical, even if it is true ... I mean, even THOUGH it's true. flighty 0 #104 February 11, 2004 Quote I'm ticked that I didn't capitalize mine. Anyone know how to change it to Flighty? Yes, simply logon as "Flighty". The screen name is not case specific. If I want to, I can logon as sKyMoNkEyOnE. Hmm, I don't think that worked ~Cindy~ Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari? littlestranger 0 #106 February 12, 2004 Mine came from an Iggy Pop and the Stooges song called Gimme Danger. The line: "Gimme danger little stranger and I'll fill you with peace", defined how I feel about skydiving. I'm finally at peace with myself.

vleisie 0 #110 February 12, 2004 Mine is a nickname I got while at university. It is Afrikaans and the pronunciation is something like flay-see. It is short for vleisbom (meat bomb).

skysprite 0 #112 February 12, 2004 Everyone says that when I was a kid I never walked; I hopped. I'd take two steps, hop, two steps, hop, rinse and repeat. I got the nick name tigger from that. Later that whole deal morphed into the joke that I was an angel who wanted to experience being a little girl child, and so everytime I hopped, I was actually trying to fly. (step step, hop, look, "Where's those wings!") This morphed further when I started dancing, and somewhere along the way during one of my performances, someone said I looked like a little nature sprite. Anyway, with all of this talk of flying angels and sprites, isn't it only natural that I'd want to skydive? So I went with the whole sky-sprite idea. Tada. Oh, and the next person to refer to me as a carbonated beverage will look like this guy --> ~skysprite

McDuck 0 #114 February 12, 2004 I got mine not long after I had joined the Air Force and was working on air-launched nukes. I'm more of a night owl, and being on day-shift was rough. I was always grumpy in the mornings, or at least until I had a couple gallons of soda in me, so one of my supervisors dubbed me "McDuck", as in "Scrooge McDuck". It sort of stuck, especially since my last name starts with McD. Everyone has a really good story and we do have a running here. Just a couple comments: Muenkel, how do you pronounce your name and are you German or Dutch? SnowWhite, we are still waiting for the story behind Steaker574. That name just SOUNDS like there's a good story behind it. Deuce, that is so cool, I never knew that is what your name meant! And JceMan, how did you get your screenname? SO far we have votes for: Crapflinger2000 AntiPinkChrissy SwoopTHereItIs ChiefWiggum NoShitThereIWas And ... don't forget about BIG DICK. Muenkel 0 #116 February 12, 2004 QuoteMuenkel, how do you pronounce your name and are you German or Dutch? It rhymes with "uncle". The "e" is silent. And I'm German. The red hair and blue eyes should make that obvious. Chris _________________________________________ Chris
NoShitThereIWas 0 #117 February 13, 2004 Whew! Let's get back to this thread!!! That other one is so serious and getting a bit depressing although very interesting to hear everyone's views ... I didn't expect that other one (see draft thread) to take off so quickly , but I thought I'd lighten up the Forum a little bit by getting back to the Best Screenname thread. Anyone got any jokes???
