CRW Dogs:Hip Rings or Conventional Harness?

I'm interested to hear from CRW jumpers as to whether they prefer Hip Rings or [non-articulated] conventional harnesses. Also mention which CRW discipline you participate in and if that makes a difference in your answer.

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that rots guys like the standard harness better. I've jumped both for crw and I can't say I really noticed much of a difference. I mainly care about big wide thick comfy leg straps.

I find it easier to get the double-wide, double-padding legstraps lower. It feels more like "sitting under canopy," and less like "hanging in the harness."

To me there really is no differance.........hip rings are great for free flying but when your in the harness for more than 3 or 4 minutes its all about the manufacturer........

I have both and they both hurt equaly if your in the harness for an extended period......

Although your busy thinking of alot of other things when your hooked up so I really don't think about it until after break away, then I notice.
