When I bought my 7-33, a 7-34 (had to) came with it. I cleaned-up the 7-34 and sold it for what I paid for both. It's better to go with the 7-33. that way, you won't be changing bobbins in the middle of a stitch pattern. Chuck
RiggerLee 61 #3 September 7, 2010 On the one we had the 34 had a diffrent foot and feed dog. It was more of an L shaped foot and one sided ossolating outer foot, zipper style. I like my 31(converted to a 33) better. LeeLee [email protected] www.velocitysportswear.com
masterrig 1 #4 September 7, 2010 Mine did too! I ordered a 'standard' presser foot from Singer for both machines (33 & 34) and included it with the machine when I sold the 34. Both machines had been used for making canvas tarps and awnings and both had new hooks when I bought them. Both machines had been overhauled and no 'slack'. Besides Nylon webbing, I sew a lot of heavy leather with it and it does a darned good job. Chuck
masterrigger1 2 #5 September 7, 2010 Quote Hello, I like to know if anyone have some experience on a 7-34 Im always hear about 7-31 & 7-33 but no 34, looks the same Ditto on everything that has been said so for. The -34 not only has a smaller bobbin, but also a smaller hook assembly. The -34 , -6, and -9 have the same smaller assembly designed to do lighter work than the -31 or -33.
