billvon 2,380 #3 January 20, 2010 Brake line trim is one method, I believe. The first Crossfire 1's had a fairly 'straight' upper line trim (i.e. similar lengths). Derek modified a few for a more dynamic flare, and the XF2 incorporated something similar. Getting a line trim chart for both and just checking the uppers would tell you. masterrigger1 2 #5 January 21, 2010 Quote Can you please tell me the easiest way to tell if its a Crossfire 1 or 2 The best way to determine that fact is to look at the "d" lines. A Crossfire I has 10 "D" lines A Crossfire II has only 6 "D" lines, missing the two on each side nearest the stabilizers. Derek modified a few for a more dynamic flare, and the XF2 incorporated something similar. The entire line trim is different. Derek changed a few Safires, not Crossfires at the upper control lines. in fact a lot of those canopies were changed back to standard.
