Cool rig! How long did it take to get to you? Don't forget to take the pillow out and put a canopy in before you jump it"There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." riggerpaul 1 #3 December 2, 2009 Is there a real reserve in the reserve container? That bit of white RSL lanyard should not be visible. Be sure to have a rigger take a look at it before the rig is jumped.
g3ninfinite 0 #4 December 2, 2009 yeah I opened the reserve flap. the loop that it goes through just need to be pushed up and back into the container.
g3ninfinite 0 #5 December 2, 2009 It took 11 weeks. At least I'd have a reserve to save me! =]
g3ninfinite 0 #6 December 3, 2009 for shit and giggles I opened her up real nice and snapped a photo. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z309/g3ninfinite/12022009280.jpg nevermind I got the new shit. Packer I love you.
riggerpaul 1 #7 December 3, 2009 Quote my cutaway cable is not channeled through the collins lanyard in the rsl lanyard. Perhaps my packer pulled a little far? So everybody knows, g3's new rig has the modified, "Y" shaped RSL where there is a separate leg of the RSL that supplies the Collins function. On this rig, the left side cutaway cable was assembled properly, going through the loop on the end of the new separate leg of the RSL. The problem in the photo was that g3 had moved the other leg of the RSL so that the white lanyard was exposed. He now knows that all that stuff should remain safely under the cover flap. Sweet rig- So, how were you lucky enough to get a new Vector with only 62 jumps? Sheesh! I hadda wait until I had at least a hundred+ before I could even think of ordering a new Vector II. Until then, I was jumping a VERY used, very old Vector I- Not quite a WonderHog. It came with a field modified/ installed BOC. The Vector II has now become a custom Vector3.
