New toys for me

Just wait Remi... I'll have a place that even the Queer Eyes would be envious of at the rate I'm going :S:P

I have since learned to leave the TV on either the Speed network or if I want to have nightmares CBN :D

More than once I have looked over at my Suunto and was looking at what time it was over what Alti I was at. A good positive grip over your wrist can change what mode it is in. It's fun under canopy but I wouldn't rely on it when setting up a hook.

Mine... Ordered it yesterday

Two words....Fucking nice!

I was looking at a CBR600 F4....But I KNOW I don't need it and I would get killed.

What would you be loading that at?

Do you have the proper experience?

Have you had formal training?

Do you have a minimum of 400 succesful rides on one of these

Followed by at least 400 succesful coached rides on one of these?

Also, do you have anyone of proper authority that can vouch for you, and possibly be bribed into signing a waiver allowing you to purchase said rocket without actually completing the proper training?

:P;)

I can't find the HP of the 599 engine...But it would be a lot. The bike weighs 370 pounds, and I weigh 160. I would guess the bike is around 100 HP....So that would be a lot more than my 270 HP Mustang.

Do you have the proper experience?

Sort of....But not really. Which is why I DON'T OWN ONE.

See I KNOW I don't have the experience to own it, so I didn't buy it. Unlike some new guys on canopies.

Yes.

No, but I owned a moped and had hundreds of rides on it.

No but I did also have a 125cc Duel purpose bike for a few years, and have several hours in the saddle of a 750.

I alsoowned a Harley for three days before I realized I hated it.

I am sure that can be handled.

I got a new Wings rig arriving this weekend!

Sweet....The wings seems to be a good rig.

Plus we got a trailer on the dz....I am now your neighbor, Ron! We are 'weekend warriors' like that home decorating show...although getting that into shape isn't playing around.....

The irony is that I may be moving....;)

Well, I see no problem here. I do have the proper experience for this bike, so I strongly suggest you go out and buy it, and I'll coach you on it until I feel you are ready.

Buy a sissy bar, wouldn't want you falling off. :D:ph34r:

Dude, this bike thing is turning out to be WAY expensive. It's like buying skydiving gear all over again. Let's see, so far, my shopping list (x 2 for the Big Man):

bike
components (seat, peddles, I dunno - chain?!)
bike rack
skid lid
new specs
jerseys
shorts (which i recently discovered you have to go commando in)
socks
weird shoes
gloves
hydration system
computer thingy...

But, it should make for a fun winter! I can't wait.

If you were wearing undies, then you are about the experience a whole other level of confort! :)
My Specialized Sequoia (fully loaded touring bike) is about 12 years old now, and if I was biking more, I'd love to spend some doch on a cool street one.....

Yeah they do make anyone look gay.

Quote

socks

Yeah that was news to me as well.

Quote

weird shoes

That suck for walking

Quote

gloves

Yeah I didn't have these at first and it sucked...But after 5 miles my hands go numb anyway.

Quote

hydration system

A water bottle is not that much.

computer thingy...

Yeah but they are cool as hell.

BTW you forgot tube and flat repair kit.

I spent a little over 1,600.00, and that was with a discount.

As winners of the fashion portion of annual Thanksgiving Day boogie competitions, the Muffs are recognized as fashion officionados. You may want to stop by and let us peruse your new riding togs.

The problem with that is if it is after the van break they may try to eat the twinkie off of my shirt.

Nice toys!

We bought this for our home last weekend. Part of the 'new kitchen' in progress.

In regards to Skydiving toys, I have a new helmet on the way, and a box for my new camera (that my man up and bought me). :)

Did you ever wonder how that new dishwasher worked??
