gusto77 0 #1 October 27, 2009 Got my first rig pretty recently (used)... very satisfied with the chute overall but the container seems like it could use a cleaning... Best way to go about this?

heavydude 0 #5 October 29, 2009 The FAA rigger manual(availible free online from FAA) has a similar procedure. Also has procedure on treating container with scotchgard. Did this on a used Racer that I bought as a backup rig.
Skydivesg 7 #6 October 30, 2009 I have my rigs washed every two years. My rigger rinses them in a utility sink and then puts them (one at a time) in a front loading (low water) washing machine. Hang for a couple of days to dry. They come back looking like brand new.Be the canopy pilot you want that other guy to be.
