What size rubberbands?

Recommended Posts

The last 2 canopies I purchased from PD came with a bag of small bands, so I figure thats what they recommend. I also use the single wrap method an its pretty secure, but I use the mediums on the locking stows since those first 2 can be a bitch sometimes.

Same here. Bigger on the locking and smaller everywhere else.

Without knowing what type of lines it is hard to say what size stow bands to use. I would recoment asking your rigger and have explain the size and the reason.

Chute Shop is now called Parachute Systems and they do not make a ZP.Exe in a 155. They do make a 150 sq. ft. one though. This is a rather obscure canopy, is there any particular reason you bought it?

I can confirm it is a 155. I haven't looked for a serial yet but yes the logo patch is a Chuteshop 155.

Now aren't there three types of line, micon dacron and spretra? Or am I making one of those up based on other words? Ha. Then I know there's 5xx and 8xx and whatnot..

Why did I get this canopy? Why not, I got a steal on it from my dzo. Lines are good as new on it as well

Have you ever jumped it? And of course the DZO would have no vested interest in selling the canopy. I guess I am cynical because I have seen so many low time jumper taken advantage of you those that should be looking out for their interest.

My DZO has always looked out for me, he isn't the type to not care..

The canopy is actually bigger than gear I've jumped, so it's not like I was jumping a 190 in school and am jumping a 155 just because it was a good deal. It's all good
