Ok this has come up several times...and I say its Color...but im just a damn Yank right????
:D
Which is it!

Per Merriam Webster

Color

Colour

:D:D:D

Both are correct but color is used in US and colour is used in UK. Colour was original and we 'yanks' changed it like we did a lot of words for our own purposes. ;) We are just a little rebellious that way for some reason.

Colour is the original spelling and the way Canadians still spell it. It's also cheque, favour, doughnuts, neighbour, etc.
But you Americans have trouble with those silent letters so the teachers and powers that be have given up and are allowing the language to pauperize to the lowest common denominator.
