Yes they do, but for the $, I'm looking to Spain.
It's the only place I've tried lately that $10-15 buys something. Just picked up a mixed case!

There are lots of great wines coming out of Chile, Argentina, and Australia for <$8 a bottle. I can't remember the last time I paid more than that for a good bottle of red.

I disagree. The Kiwi's make some damn fine wine, as well as some of the truley great stuff to come out of Nor Cal's Napa Valley. Spain also has some fine wines.

Penfolds Grange. But its olny a shadow of a good Bordeux. Cal Cabs do compete. Ill agree.

Yeah, I know. However, New Zealand (and Kiwis) remind me of Australia and vice-versa...and to be honest, I don't recall ever seeing a bottle from New Zealand. But if they're anything like the Australian wines I've had, thats probably a good thing

I like Black Opal (Australian) Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. They're pretty good.
