You will find beer and booze more exp up here...the taxes see to that :S....when in rome do as the romans(drink our beer);)....I am sure you will be pleasantly suprised( and prob under the table if you drink it like american beer:P)..what kind of beer is good ...depends on your tastes and what part of the country your going to.

Have a great trip and remember.....dont try and out drink a Canadian ;)B|

Booze is definitely not cheaper here.
But the beer is better than that pony piss you guys call beer down there. Molson Dry is one of my favourites and it's 5.5% so watch it.
I would suggest a stop at the duty free store if you are driving.
Have fun on the slopes, ride hard, take chances.
Where are you going?

you have to go to goverment run liquior stores to buy it..

BZZZZ! Wrong!

Depends on the province and the booze. In Alberta, its all private. In Quebec, liquor and good wine is in the gov agencies, beer in corner stores and groceries, same with cheap wine. BC, I dont remember... As for Newfieland, you neet to kiss the cod 1st.;)

I'm Going to Mont Tremblant for a week.

I was there for a long weekend this past December. Bring lots of cash!!!!!!!!!

On the resort, everything is roughly 3 to 4 times what you would normally expect to pay. Hence 4 coffees and a hot chocolate ended up around $15 for example.

I'm starting to think you are trying to avoid me!

I am :P

Actually, flew into Montreal but didn't stay there, so really had no opportunity to meet up.

Off the plane, into rental car, on the slopes, off slopes, into rental car, back in plane kind of routine.
