cucamber 0 #1 March 1, 2009 Hi everyone, Does anybody know this company: http://www.basik.fr/en/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=189&category_id=6&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28? What are their products like (canopies & container)?
dragon2 0 #2 March 1, 2009 The Advance container is a fairly common sight over here. I have never flown any of their mains myself or even seen one that I'm aware; any 2nd hand main of theirs would be a bit hard to sell here, but the container is definitely a fine product. I have heard no complaints about their customer service (as opposed to the other French skyding company PdF). I've no idea what brands are common in Israel, I'd check out what people around you have if you're interested in selling 2nd hand later on. ciel bleu, Saskia

upndownshop 0 #4 March 1, 2009 No reserve side flaps on the container, I remember playing with that idea when I worked at Strong Ent. Same time vacuum packed was being discussed. Id be curious to see one up close..Might have to check that out...
cucamber 0 #5 March 1, 2009 judging by their description it should be a very unique rig - the no-side-flaps-reserve, magnetic risers, the d-bags design, boc, cutaway housings... the list goes on. It's as if someone decided to build a parachute from nothing. I already have a rig - i am very happy with my vector 3So just wanted to know weather there are people here with experience with this system - just how good is it? piisfish 135 #6 March 1, 2009 so you saw the Seven (one of Basic Air Concept's models). I saw a couple, jumped one. Liked it a lot (besides it was not my size)scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
riggerrob 558 #7 March 5, 2009 I have only packed one Advance container. It took two tries to make it pretty. Overall I was impressed with the design and attention to detail.
BKR 0 #8 March 8, 2009 Hello, I like the "Unknown manufacturer company". For sure compare to the big majors we are, but we are making rigs since 1998 and canopies since 2001. We sell mainly in France and EEC. Our last Seven H/C is very innovative and include all the features you need at no extra charge. If you need more infos you can PM me. I still looking to distributors in US and Canada.Jérôme Bunker Basik Air Concept www.basik.fr http://www.facebook.com/pages/Le-Luc-France/BASIK-AIR-CONCEPT/172133350468
