HELP

OK so I got new risers in for my V3. I cant get the damn soft links off to switch the canopy and soft links over to the new risers. DOES ANYONE HAVE A BETTER WAY TO DO THIS?

Better than what OTHER way ? You are not stating anything we can give you an alternative to.

Please post some pictures and state what kind of problem you are having.

OK well first thing I dont have a camera right at the moment the old lady has it in the car and shes at work. But I have done this once before and I remember just pulling on the tap and pushing back the other side of the soft link that locks the tab in and then I pushed the tab back through. But I cant get enough room to push the tab back through this time. Dont know why..... Im going to see if I can find that web cam thing to see if I can use that to take pics with.

ok now that I have been working on this for a long time I found that I am just stupid! Someone had tacked through the soft link. So second question are they still ok to take the tacking out and put them on the new risers?

yes, as long as the tacking was done through the tab, it wont be a problem. make sure not to damage the riser when cutting the tacking.
