Auryn 0 #1 August 9, 2008 since arrowdynamics is out of business, does anyone have or know where to get a replacement chin cup for a hawkeye? black preferred, but I can repaint it. Bryan
tr027 0 #2 August 10, 2008 I replaced my lost one with a parasport cup. You have to change the ratchet straps out and it looks a little goofier, but works."The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. Auryn 0 #4 August 10, 2008 Cool.. thanks. I'll give them a call and see if they take the same size ratchet straps. QuoteI'm pretty sure you can get them from bonehead. I have one and it's very comfortable.
icevideot 0 #5 August 26, 2008 You may as well use the rachet straps that come with the new cup. You will have them anyway and then you will know the straps and clips were meant to fit together well. Just my .02"... this ain't a Nerf world."
everymansaved 0 #6 August 26, 2008 When I was in Perris this winter, the told me that some people have been switching to the BH chincup simply because it's more comfortable, and it works with the old rachet straps. Now mind you this is with the new Hawkeyes, I'm not sure if they use the same chincup/rachets as the old style.God made firefighters so paramedics would have heroes...and someone can put out the trailer fires. Auryn 0 #7 February 18, 2009 Update to this thread: I've installed the parasport chin cup on a hawkeye, with a bonehead cutaway system. There is one BIG advantage to the parasport chin cup that I like: Tab A locks the cup to the ratchets. Tab B tightens the chin cup along the ratchets, allowing you to level your cameras based on what your ring sight is telling you about horizontal orientation of the cameras on your head. Very Nice.
