Guest #12 September 18, 2005 QuoteYou can if going last out of Mullin's King Air on almost any load. Wish I'd thought of that. Next time I get a chance, I'm going to ride the Mullins King Air down one time. I've never been in an airplane that was pointed straight at the ground like that, not even a Pitts Special. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." alw 0 #16 September 18, 2005 The optical illusion that occurs in the photo was not staged - great shots usually happen when no one is looking. If you think three dimensions you can imagine the scenario where everyone is flying safe, within parameters and as planned. But I really like the illusion that this canvas provides. By the way . . . the By Line on the photo is Roberto Neto. --------------------------------------------- Every day is a bonus - every night is an adventure. DeepThought 0 #22 September 19, 2005 I've seen a realy cool video of that. guy headdown with plane next to him, with the camera angle making them both look horizontal, like the guy was keeping up with the palne. Only lasted a few secs but is was very cool. -------------------------------------------------- You only have one life, make the most of it.
brianfry713 0 #23 September 20, 2005 I think a better thread title would be: "Why it pays to be nice to your jump pilot". Flying head down with the plane carving around you nose down is a blast! Makes for a great visual and awesome video. It makes me want to ride the plane down, maybe someday with a really cool pilot. It's when there's other planes on my skydive with me that I didn't jump out of or the blue light comes on 2,000 feet low that I start to wonder if I pissed off the pilot. Added: If only I wasn't too scared to actually land in the plane!
