IMO it takes more guts to quit a job that you know you have money coming in, but are not happy at, then to stay there.

I've successfully negotiated 15 days the last 2 jobs I've had. 10 is just not enough and 5??? If you don't ask, for sure you won't get it, but employers seem more willing to negotiate with vacation days than salary sometimes.
