No 1 - a fishslice
No 2 - a spatula

spatulas are to scrape bowls out with and a fishslice is something you flip things (like fish for example) in a frying pan.

I call them...

1 spatula
2 gleener or scraper

(note... 2 is not a spatula... spatulas are used for flipping pancakes and hamburgers... and gleeners or scrapers are used for getting cookie dough, cake or brownie mix etc off the inside of a bowl...)

my 2 cents

I tend to agree with you on this. All I know is, when I need one or the other and can't find it... I get really pissed because my eggs are layin' there burnin and I can't get the last little bit of pancake mix outa the bowl!>:(:D
