gravityizsexy 0 #1 November 26, 2005 totally whoops any fictional female action hero... WITHOUT POWERS! btw - what kind of animation was the original? and wtf was it about!?!? never really understood since I'd rarely catch culmlative episodes.. I think the movie looks kind of intresting... hopefully I won't be dissapointed, which is what Im expecting. :( "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
JohnRich 4 #2 November 27, 2005 As long as it has Charlize Theron in it, I'll go watch.
GrendelKhan 0 #3 November 27, 2005 I don't know, Sigourney Weaver set the standard in Aliens. I'ts hard to match that machine gun/flamethrower beat down followed by mechanical exo-skeleton kung fu. Whoopow! Charlize is hotter though. Grendel Khan-The Official DZ.Com Newbie Forum Nuisance "They sicken of the calm, that know the storm."

Tink1717 2 #5 November 27, 2005 Quotewhat kind of animation was the original? It was anime-esqe. Not really anime, but close enough. Quoteand wtf was it about!?!? never really understood since I'd rarely catch culmlative episodes.. STILL not sure exactly, but I just bought the box set, maybe I'll figure it out. The movie doesn't seem to follow the 'toon story line, but looks cool anyway.Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... It really pisses him off. -The World Famous Tink. gmittar 0 #7 November 27, 2005 I hate that on the poster they make Charlize look like Angelina in Tomb Raider. I detest Angelina, but love Charlize. Hopefully the entire movie doesn't reflect that. |>.<| Seriously, W.T.F. mate?

sunshine 2 #9 November 27, 2005 QuoteI think the movie looks kind of intresting... hopefully I won't be dissapointed, which is what Im expecting. :( I hope it's not disappointing. I used to watch Aeon Flux on MTV. I've been so excited for the movie to finally come out!! ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! skydiver30960 0 #10 November 27, 2005 Half the fun of it was that I never understood what it was about, or where she was, or what the hell she was doing, or who she was killing... I was thinking about buying the box set too, no decision yet. She is simply THE hottest thing in hollywood right now, so I'm sure I'll end up seeing it (with the gf bitching and whining the whole time, no doubt). elvisio "mmmmm... tight black leather" Rodriguez
fireflytx 0 #11 November 28, 2005 I was a big fan of the cartoon, I hope they do it justice. I am already disappointed that the costume is nothing like the cartoon."Well behaved women rarely make history"
skydiver30960 0 #12 November 28, 2005 QuoteI am already disappointed that the costume is nothing like the cartoon. Refer back to my last post about C.T. being the hottest chickie in hollywood... you ain't the ONLY one disappointed by the costume! Elisha 1 #14 December 3, 2005 I liked it....most critics didn't...but they probably wouldn't give a rats ass about the original MTV series, so who cares about them.
billvon 2,879 #15 December 4, 2005 >The movie doesn't seem to follow the 'toon story line, but looks cool anyway. It follows the line of "A Last Time for Everything" approximately. Aeon allows herself to be cloned, then falls for Trevor, is threatened/helped by Sithandra, questions herself etc. There's no saving the world or coup though. riddler 0 #16 December 4, 2005 Visually, very stimulating and even colorful. The script could've been written by a 14-year-old. OK, maybe after it got corrected by his freshman english teacher. What's with all the cloning movies lately? Star Wars, The Island, A.F.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
cbain 0 #17 December 4, 2005 Just went and saw it Friday. I was not impressed. Sure she's super hot and that's about it for the whole movie. I had never even heard about the MTV thing though so can't compare. The plot is next to non-existent and the action scenes are ho-hum boring. I just kept waiting for something to happen and it never did. Even the hubby didn't like it. Christina

Lindercles 0 #19 December 4, 2005 QuoteWhat's with all the cloning movies lately? Star Wars, The Island, A.F. i've noticed this happens pretty often. movies tend to come out in pairs or groups. like dante's peak and inferno. or deep impact and that other one just like it whose name i can't remember. and more recently ray and walk the line. don't know what's up with that, but it a little creepy
