I didn't know eyeballs had mouths & teeth to eat with... go figure, you learn stuff all the time. rickjump1 0 #17 December 5, 2005 When you pick an eyeball out of a baked grouper or redsnapper, this white stringy stuff hangs on. The trick is to get eat it without getting messy. It looks gross, but it's good. Do your part for global warming: ban beans and hold all popcorn farts.
thegreekone 0 #19 December 5, 2005 easter time greeks eat this soup called "magirista" which is basically lamb head/gizzard soup. Afetr the soup course is served, we got down to eating 1/2 of a lamb's head....everything except the bones, mr friends. and they ask us why we drink!? lawrocket 3 #20 December 5, 2005 I remember watching a James Bond movie when I was a kid - I think the guy was eating stuffed sheep's head, and started with the eyeballs. I just cannot bring myself to try them, although I'm sure that there are places where the vitreous humor can be made into a soup or somethng. Ever notice that the most disgusting freaking things must be called "delicacies" to get people to eat them? Either that or call them aphrodisiacs, where they will be consumed like hotcakes in the orient. My wife is hotter than your wife.
BillyVance 34 #21 December 5, 2005 Quote Either that or call them aphrodisiacs, where they will be consumed like hotcakes in the orient. The only thing I've ever eaten that have been called aphrodisiacs were conches in the Bahamas... That's as close to NOT being unappealing to the eye as I want to get... swedishcelt 0 #22 December 6, 2005 Wow. Everyone in here IS kinda sick. I was just eating a bunch of chocolate eyeballs and other candy grossies one of my students left me. Kids are cool like that. I love my job. They are really kind of eerily realistic looking with the wrappers still on.
