Vallerina 2 #1 February 2, 2006 Skydive Radio made me hooked! I finally got an iPod (a fancy one that shows pictures and videos!) I heard about Skydive Radio, and it sounded neat, so I subscribed. I have a 40 min. train ride to and from work, and it is difficult to study/read at 6:30 in the morning when I'm barely awake, so I started listening to my iPod. I've really enjoyed many of the interviews on Skydive Radio, and I started looking around for other Podcasts. The Onion, while short, is pretty darned funny (see sig line.) I like Yogamazing, so if I'm ever inspired to do yoga at any given moment, I have some classes right in my iPod. The Discovery Channel one is pretty neat. What are some of the podcasts you enjoy? I've listened to a couple of others that just weren't all that entertaining, though highly popular. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

diverds 0 #4 February 2, 2006 I'm subscribed to more than 40 podcasts right now and I'm always surfing Podcast Alley for more. Some of my favorites are: Keith and the Girl (comedy) Tiki Bar TV (video comedy) This Week In Tech (Technology) Fly with Me (aviation) The Pilotcast (aviation) Perspectives in Aviation Safety (aviation) Ante Up (poker tips, I really need this one) The Roadhouse (Music - Blues) Dave's Lounge (Music - Down Tempo) History According to Bob (History) Science Friday (Science) I could go on and on. With all the great content available on podcasts there is really no need for radio anymore. I have not turned mine on for months. Skydive Radio

cbain 0 #7 February 2, 2006 I like the NPR podcasts too. Right now I have the Story of the Day, Technology and Movies. This is a good thread. I've been wanting to subscribe to some more but haven't had time to search for any good ones. Christina
Zeemax 0 #8 February 2, 2006 may i suggest two more that our radio show produce... Faceless - The extension of a feature we do on our show each day. Essentially its the annoymous diaries of a london girl. We gave her a phone number to voice mail, which she dials any time day or night, where she leaves what ever's on her mind. We then transcribe that into a computer generated speech engine so that she remains completely anonymous. This allows her to say whatever she wants, and she really does!! The Show Video podcast - Theres two video's up there now, one is a classic video from the show (we have an 'outside guy' who does wind up's and stunts etc) and the other is me landing in a barbed wire fence (from Z hills this crhistmas) ouch!! Both are certainly worth subscrbing to!!Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
