GARYC24 3 #1 February 15, 2006 Anyone else ever wear/use one? Well, I got one of these $9.00 sauna suits. And wore at the gym last night. (after over an hour of a hard combat taekwondo class, instructor was in a mood! haha) Man, did I get some double-take looks from all kinds of people there, included some of the staff! Have to say that I really felt WEIRD! haha

GARYC24 3 #3 February 15, 2006 To sweat alot, speeds up water weight loss. Motivates one to do laundry more often, because of sweaty clothes and use more towels. Not to mention looking cool.!
WatchYourStep 0 #4 February 15, 2006 Used them all the time when I wrestled. Helped cut a lot of weight. Be sure you clean it once in a while. They are full of bacteria. briguy 0 #13 February 15, 2006 QuoteThat was the advertisement for the product mentioned in the original post. the suit will make you sweat more, that's for sure. as to burning more calories than non-suit wearers, I doubt it. have you tried reducing your calorie intake and increasing your activity level? it worked for jared the subway guy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You can take care of it also by correct stretching. It's why at a massage parlor they'll often warm your body before they start doing everything. It's easier to get the knots out if the muscles are warm. But I'm going to take it you won't go to a massage parlor 'cause you're not gay? This ad space for sale. SpeedRacer 1 #15 February 15, 2006 sweating itself does not make you burn more calories. If anything you'd burn LESS calories. Physical exertion burns calories. You can only sweat off water weight, not fat. eat one salty meal & drink some water & presto, it's all back again. briguy 0 #16 February 15, 2006 unformed, going by your argument then... warming muscles in the massage parlor is just as effective as warming muscle through physical exertion. is that a claim you'd make? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
