popsjumper 2 #3 February 21, 2006 Good stuff, man. Wait'll you can go more than 5 minutes with the babes and you will be kicking yourself for not quitting sooner. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
virginflyer3 0 #4 February 21, 2006 I relapsed and started again last year (after a 2 year break - duh!) when I did my tandem. Puffed like a steam train for months afterwards. Yuk. So I gave up New Years day and so far so good. First week is the hardest and going out socialising with other smokers can be tough, especially when slightly innebriated. The next morning when I can smell how gross my clothes are I remember what a good decision it was. Plus I can run on a tread now without wanting to pass out after 10 minutes. All good. Food tastes great too.
 vt1977 0 #5 February 21, 2006 Well done Regan – keep it up. Take it a day at a time. You’ve done 4 days, so you can do a week. Once you’ve done a week you’ll start to notice that you can smell things better! Once you’ve done a week, you can do 10 days. Once you’ve done 10 days, you can do two weeks... etc. Don’t just kick the habit – make it suffer! (paraphrased from the latest Boots anti smoking campaign!)
