riggerrob 558 #21 March 5, 2006 I am stuck at work ... mind you I work in a toy store, ... a skydivers' toy store aka parachute loft. Yesterday was a slow day, so I spent the morning sewing, doing Cypres retrofits. The afternoon got a bit more exciting, when I got to drive around town for an hour searching for a cutaway canopy. Friday was better, I got called in early to teach a first jump course, but it turns out the guy had jumped before and remembered most of the details, so we spent MAYYYBE an hour on review, then chucked him out of an airplane. Then I did a tandem before getting back to sewing. A wingsuit starter at me from the corner of my loft. It says that it is lonely and wants to fly. Too bad the boss will not let me jump it until I pack another 50 reserves for students. Oh! And a jumper just dropped off a GTI for a small patch and he asked me to do a few jumps on it.
