I worked in an ad agency for a couple of years, and I got really tired of hearing women friends complaining about this 'impossible image' the guys in advertising were forcing women to live up to. Firstly, women choose to compete or emulate that look, for whatever reason. Secondly, a lot of the people propagating the "stick with a gucci necklace" standard are WOMEN!
