caress 0 #12 May 11, 2006 I was raised not to talk with food in my mouth out of courtesy for others around me and it is considered unacceptable behavior where I come from. I think that it is disgusting, and unkooth. so when others choose to behave that way I put my napkin up in front of my face attempting to avoid splatter.-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.
Slappie 9 #13 May 11, 2006 I agree I hate talking when you're trying to eat is yuk. How about talking to someone on the phone and eating. I'll hangup on you if you call me and you're eating. That's just disgusting. "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." Rebecca 0 #15 May 11, 2006 I can't shut up long enough to eat. If I didn't talk & eat I'd starve. I don't smack and I'm very careful not to play the "See Food" game. I can't stand it when someone looks over my shoulder at the screen and smacks gum. It makes me recoil. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
