Optimum 126 in micron v304?

Has anyone tried to put an optimum 126 into a micron v304. If so, how did it fit?

Putting an Optimum 113 into my V304 was very easy - both getting it into the freebag and closing the container. I hope someone can post who has actually put in a 126, but I would be suprised if a 126 wouldn't fit...

Let make sure that we're not putting optimums that are too small into containers. The potential is there.

Its a real case where, GO BIG or go home relates to something else. Nice to see it when people are selecting a reserve.

PD state that as ageneral rule, optimum replaces the next size down in pd reserve. So it should replace a 113.
For your container u should be looking at a 106 PD reserve/113 optimum, might be tight???

Pack volume for PD 106 is 249
Pack volume of Optimum126 is 271

From where do you get those numbers? PD seems to be very secret about pack volumes. My understanding is that an Optimum packs about one and a half size smaller than the same sized conventional reserves from PD.

Thanks for the reply , but what I would want is the opinion of someone that has actually tried. Nothing beats empirical data you know.

UPT does not recomend packing an Optimum 126 in a 303 or 304.

I was told that an Optimum 126 would be too tight for a 304, especially with a Cypres. I'm getting an Optimum 113.

http://www.performancedesigns.com/docs/Reserve_manual.pdf .........will give you ALL the pack volumes, including woth different line sets (VERY SECRETIVE) and the rest.

It's also interesting to see that the Optimum sizes are in between the standard PD sizes. The Optimum 126, for example is 270 qi according to the specs you show. Which is right in the middle of the PDr 106 and 113.
