Dr. usualy knows best. im no Dr. but im sure you could still enjoy "A" beer every once in awhile. i passed a kidney stone in Sept. and it was caused by too much soda and alcohol(diretics = dehydration = kidney stones). when the Dr. told me no more soda or alcohol i quit and im a drinker. but, i still enjoy a drink every so often. no more "getting smashed" though, and drink alot of water before and after. good luck and i wish you good health.
