DTOXX 0 #26 June 16, 2006 Those who can weld, do weld. Those who can not are inspectors. I should know, I am a welding inspector. ------- D.T. Holder SIMstudy

VectorBoy 0 #28 June 16, 2006 Quoteare you calling me a gueezer, punk? Argon is noble and so am I. My ac and stick glue jobs were the 'cats meow' back in the day. Damn pretty to my eyes. Still patching broken hearts and stiching the crack of dawn. The geezers I'm refering to are typically retired, frugal, experimental aircraft enthusiasts. Cheap old home builders. Oshcosh, sun'n'fun, and Chino are crawlin with them. Some insist on "torching" aluminum. Its really brazing. All of the guys that do bikes, Rods or 4x4 s do TIG. Mostly because there is more volume and profit in these hobbies. I still feel sorry for the guys torching cromemolly, again TIG is they way to go here. If the little boys assembling bicycles can swing it so should the homebuilders. As for you Mark, I can let you play on my miller and have you doing polished "dropped dimes" that rival the uncontested beauty of a well placed Pearl neckless! Yes I'm just a Punk but I drop dimes with the best.
