It worked really well relieving the artho pain. Heres the bad part....it has some signifigant side effects....one of which it can cause rapid weight gain, as it did to me. I had to quit it and go back on the pain meds cuz I couldnt control the weight . If you can deal with the side effects it does the job on arthritis bozo bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever. jumpjunkie2004 0 #4 June 21, 2006 I just lost a bunch of weight - and being thinner actually helps my lower back arthritis. I don't want to gain it back!!! Taking it as you suggested - occasionally - might be the way for me to go. I have the prescription - I've just been holding out. I figured I'd start taking it when I couldn't get out of bed and stand up. I haven't reached that stage yet, but my ankles are killing me.Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat... d_squared431 0 #5 June 21, 2006 I work in a medical office that has several patients who use it and this is the first I have heard about weight gain. Remember with injuries you do gain weight from not being active. The people in our office are actually pretty thin that take it on a daily basis for arthritis.
