mnealtx 0 #27 June 26, 2006 240+ kph (~150+ mph) on the German Autobahn... don't know how much over 240 it was, but it was definitely over...this was NOT in any sort of high performance car... a 1984 Ford Taunus 2.0 liter. Having a blowout at 160kph (100mph) is a guaranteed pucker (factor) upper, too!!! I think it took me about a week to dig the seat cover out of my ass....Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. sharimcm 0 #29 June 26, 2006 I'm not sure how fast he got it up to, but I know it was at 110 when I looked away... I can't even remember what kind of car it was, but it was big... Cadillac? Maybe? It was on a long, straight road in Texas... On the way home from a cig stop... I know someone here can help me out on this one... You know who you are... freeasabird 0 #31 June 26, 2006 38mph on my Huffy (I do not drive). Downhill grade of about 8% (not sure. it was damn steep though!). Baby blue banana seat. No kick stand. Baseball card in rear spokes (that thing was hummin'!). Full-height sissy bar. Green tassles on chopper handlebar grips. And 2 male rottweiler nippin' at my heals!-----
turtlespeed 212 #32 June 26, 2006 The spedo stopped at 120, we passed that. But I don't know by how much - BUt I did find this . . . Cadillac's top speed is governed at 155 mph. The STS-V offers nearly the same performance in a more useful package, with four doors and plush seating for ... http://washingtontimes.com/autoweekend/20060601-123059-1778r.htmI'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

cdhezel 0 #34 June 27, 2006 80mph is not by far the fastest I´ve been on wheels, but oh man, when its 2" above the ground, lying flat on your back, going down a mountain road on a street luge "IT FEELS BALLISTIC" it aint the speed that gets ya, it be the sudden stop !!!When I go, I want to pass away in my sleep, just like my dear old Grandmother, NOT screaming like the passengers in the car she was driving. matt1215 0 #35 June 27, 2006 A little more than 120. I've never really driven a car that was designed for speed . I bought my '02 Mazda Protege-5 about 5 months ago and pushed 125 a couple times. I did that for a very limited distance to see what the car was capable of and on I-95 on the way to the DZ. I slowed down in short order not wanting a speeding ticket and because I was coming up on people really damn fast. I think I'll take my speed vertically .
