Need info on fighter jet flights

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Am looking into fighter jet flights, as a pedestrian of course :)..need info on where to go and what is the best to fly in. There seem to be a few (aircombatusa.com was recommended first, barnstormers etc.) but not sure what the difference between them is. Anyone out there have any experience to share? I am looking for the best!

Thanks
W2

you have to do some serious qualifications.... Im 3/5 of
the way completed and I've been qual'ing for 3 years...
and thats only for backseating.... what type of fighter
you looking at?

-------------------------------

It took me a while too, because thats not what strictly
engaged in. but I mean.... you have to worry about things
like security clearence and the what not, especially
considering your a civilian.... and I imagine it would be
HELLA HELLA expensive... JP-5 ain't cheap

If you have the money to spare, here is the best place to start IMHO:

http://www.incredible-adventures.com/

For a more affordable "combat" experience that won't break the bank, check this out:

http://aircombatusa.com/

Those are the best ones I've found. If you do them, be sure to post about it! I'd love to do either or both. They look like a TON of fun!

Simple.

Come to the WFFC, 2005.

Write a check for $2,000.00 to the Rantoul Childrens Foundation.

Hop in (backseat) a Czech L-39 for 30 minutes or so.

Really, that's all it takes. :)
