Casch 0 #1 August 6, 2006 I just picked up a couple mountain bikes. One is a new-to-me Trek 800 which is built mostly for street/city trails. The other is a Kona Blast for cross-country and trail riding. I bought the bikes to help myself get into shape again so I can eventually get back into the sport comfortably. I ride with my dad, but we both just started riding and neither of us know of any good trails. I know there're a lot of places to ride in the Tillamook St. Forest up at Browns camp and such. Then there're good trails out around Hagg lake. I just don't know where everything is specifically, and I'd be awesome to start riding with another skydiver. I don't have a whole lot of friends in the area that actually DO anything
Acensky 0 #2 August 6, 2006 There is a good trail that goes around Hagg lake. It can be kinda tricky, but its a good one. There are books on Oregon Mt biking. I have one and its great. HeatherGarbage bags do not make good parachutes.
d_squared431 0 #3 August 7, 2006 The summers I spent at Mt Hood I used to do some Mt biking and there are some really nice trails that aren’t that hard. It is mostly down hill so you will need to park a car at the bottom or you'll have a hell of a ride back up. I learned to mountain bike on them and I didn‘t think they were hard..TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

Hey Heather, long time no hear But I loved riding around the lake, that last downhill stretch when you head toward the entrance gate is so relaxing QuoteThe summers I spent at Mt Hood I used to do some Mt biking and there are some really nice trails that aren’t that hard. Ahh, yeah I'm gonna have to head up there sometime soon (when it's not so hot out). I'm not sure where the bike trails are though; it's a big mountain
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
