sangiro 4 #19 August 30, 2006 You still here? I've been spending silly amounts of time rebuilding RC.com over the past 8 plus months. If all goes well, the new site will launch at the end of September or shortly after. We haven't touched the old site. It's still running from a single machine hiding somewhere under someone's desk which is why you'll see a lot of performance issues there. This will change though. DZ.com is humming along on a cluster of 5 servers. We've already added to this and will bring RC.com onto the same infrastructure. We've developed a lot of cool new goodies for RC.com - all of which is done in a way that we can roll them back to DZ.com pretty easily afterwards. So, while I'm spending much of my time on that site you should expect some direct benefits from that development shortly after we've stabilized the new site. Those are exactly the synergies we wanted. Anyway - in testing over the last few months I've stumbled upon quite a few DZ.com members over there.
