FlyinDawg 0 #1 September 22, 2006 Where could I find to have class for training of rock-climbing? I hardly find it around websites. Flyin' Dawg or SkyDog "To understand is to forgive, even oneself."

BillyVance 34 #4 September 22, 2006 Whatever happened to the rock-climbers forum that Sangiro took over and merged with DZ.com? Is it still there? Oh, let's look in the announcements forum..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

skymama 35 #7 September 22, 2006 Over the summer, my kids and I went rock climbing in Brevard, NC with this group. Our guide was very good and professional. I'd use them again any day.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Randy_H 0 #8 September 22, 2006 Andrea, about how much did that set you back? It looks kinda fun! 010010010110010101100001011101000111000001110101011100110111001101111001
skycat 0 #9 September 22, 2006 Check out your local rock gyms, they usually have classes to get you started and to help you meet other people who are interested in the sport. Depending on the gym it's also a good place to meet experienced climbers who may be willing to help you learn how to climb real rock, which is very different than gym climbing.Fly it like you stole it! skymama 35 #10 September 22, 2006 QuoteAndrea, about how much did that set you back? It looks kinda fun! It ended up being about $80/person but that was for a day outing and we used all of their equipment. It really was a lot of fun!She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
