Talka.
(The "n" is just the Cyrillic "L".)
The canopy very occasionally shows up in other threads about rogallo style wings.
As for packing, sorry no idea but I'll email a Russian at my DZ who jumps a Talka rig.

While it is nice to have TSO standards, it's also nice that here in Canuckistan we can also jump non-TSO rigs.

My friend's Talka does contain a PZ-81, and he has a manual. Unless someone else gets one sooner, I should be able to get it and scan it in, in a few weeks when he'll be at the DZ. As for translating from Russian, that you'll have to figure out separately. Maybe we can get the manual added to parachutemanuals.com too.

Thanks for the great info !!!

We have been watching the: Wolf.avi
where we can see them in flight.

I think we have the lines hooked-up correctly,
but we are struggling with the pack-job...
( and how to adapt it as a main, in a modern North American rig ).

It is the most interesting rig I've seen.
Different rigging approaches to accomplish the same goal.
Hardware, materials, and ideas, I've never seen before.
But it's obvious that it would work real well.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
I hope to jump it soon !

Splat

i downloaded wolf.avi from skydivingmovies.com and i saw only red round canopy, maybe pzs-92
(the movie came from czech republic - our neighbour - and i know several systems based on canopy identical
or just very slightly modified to one in wolf.avi, all reserves or pilot emergency parachutes).
i had never pack it, just saw it once when my friend buyed container with this unique reserve
and i know he is qualified to pack it, i have one picture taken when we were buying it (i'll attach it).
as far as i know there are two manufacturers of this one, both in former CCCP,
one original producer and one making it's very similar analog.
the official marking is PZ-81, but i found several info that PZ-89 delta exists too.

please share your experience, we are planning to jump it too :-)
