I hate my psychology class . . .

Seriously, read Irvin Yalom (an existential pyschologist). His writings are entertaining.

A recent good book of his is Love's Exectutioner.

I liked most of the chapters except for the title chapter. Granted, the person was too far out there and needed the confrontation, but you can't extrapolate from it and use it as a routine solution.

Some people need to keep a little fantasy (or hope) in their lives to function every day. You just can't take them all away.

The first 12 pages in the books foreword are phenomenal though. Even if people don't read the book, they should read that.

His other books are too dry.

If you are in a large classroom with 3 whiteboards, only pay attention when he writes on the two closest to you. Then, just the one that is closest.

When you get a test question that asks for an example of Operant Conditioning, answer, "Why are you writing on only MY whiteboard, biotch ?"

(Guaranteed "A" in the class. I promise. :))
