Cor' Blimy Mate, I just saw an UFO...

Recommended Posts

So Im on my way home, walking down a road, after a drink. I notice it's a clear dark night, I take a look around. I see A high flying plane with transponder lights and think nothing of it and look down. Something inside me said look back, so I did, which Is when I notice a Star moving past others at a nice rate. It was so cool, just gliding past other stars. thought I was hallucinating, when I realised another guy walking the road had noticed it aswell.

So I say UFO not because I suspiciously think its those funky aliens in their super cool, space vehicle but as I cannot work out what it was.

I thought well maybe its that ISS thing, or a satallite.

Either that or the LSD I took was so good it cause's other people to see what I could see. LSD is mint BTW but must be taken in a safe environment, my mate introduced the rule where by atleast one would refrain, like a sober driver, from taking the shit, keepin his good eye on the rest of us, just in case some one went Crazy. These were the good ol day's of colledge, drugs and parties. Mixed with alittle bit of Skunk, very good. Can't recomend driving more, very fun.

Any Ideas?

:D:( :D:(

If your're reading this I can say those days are over and I'm much more wiser if not sober man.

First, a transponder is a piece of radio equipment in the cockpit, and has nothing to do with visual lighting.

It sounds like you saw a satellite tracking across the sky. I don't see them much here in Houston due to the light pollution. And elsewhere, when the moon is in the sky, that drowns them out also. But on a moonless night when I'm camping in the desert, I see them criss-crossing in all directions. I think I counted about five or six in just a couple of hours one night, on a camping trip last month. They will look like a point of light, a little bit brighter than a star, traveling in a straight line, and will cross from horizon to horizon in just a couple of minutes. They tend to fade to darkness as the angle from perpendicular gets greater.

Spend some time looking at the night sky on a moonless night, and you're very likely to see those. As well as brief shooting stars.

But no aliens.
