karenmeal 0 #3 December 8, 2006 I've got one with a nice flannel cover on it. It's a fabulous winter blanket. I want to go climb back into bed... "Life is a temporary victory over the causes which induce death." - Sylvester Graham
matt1215 0 #4 December 8, 2006 My mom wanted to buy me a down comforter a while back. It wouldn't serve much purpose here in Florida, so I had her get me a down throw. I like it, tho spends the warmer months in the closet.

Jewels 0 #6 December 8, 2006 I'm a fan of down blankets and have a great one on my bed now--Overstock.com, on sale, good quality. Then again, I'm always cold, so I'd take the down blanket AND a down comforter. TPM Sister #

NoShitThereIWas 0 #9 December 8, 2006 The BEST!!!! I put mine in a soft high thread count white sateen cotton duvee in the summer. (It is actually cool). Then I put it in a warm flannel duvet in wintertime. It is the best anytime!Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." Sting: "Be yourself no matter what they say." Buy a white one and dye it! Ive had mine for around 7 years now and it needs to be put up as the second string or for guests. I'll be careful when selecting my next one. Make sure you get one that is somewhat quilted. that should keep the down from moving all over inside. Mine has a bad habit of all the down moving out to the edges in a couple days.Goddam dirty hippies piss me off! ~GFD "What do I get for closing your rig?" ~ me "Anything you want." ~ female skydiver Mohoso Rodriguez #
