Suggestions needed about container/canopies

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm close to buyin' a new Atom Legend-R. I should put inside a reserve PD 106R and a PD Velocity 90. I would like to take a 0000. But I'm not able to know if these canpies fit right the container!
I sent an email to Parachutes de France and to PD...but they didn't tell me nothing sure.
PdF told me to compare pack volume of the canopies in relation to the min/max sizes fitted by his container but....PD doesn't misure their canopies!

From PdF tables..:
Legend -R 0000
reserve -> min 270 / max 278 cu. in.
main -> min 276 / max 283 cu. in.

Are you able guys to give me some precious suggestion please?

See Ya

the canopy comparison chart in the para-gear catalog list the velocity 90 at 340 cu. in.

though at the bottom of the page it says, "these statistics should be considered only to be approximate volumes"

if PD dosen't answer your ? try emailing a gear outlet. they should know canpoy volumes.

Thanks guys..

I've known that Fabian Fardel (coach of the Bedford Tunnel), jumps with a Legend-R / Velo 90 / 106r so....is possible for sure... They told me that these canopies inside the 0000 are not so comfortable but.. are ok.

Another french guy told me that he jumps with a 0000 and a velo 103.....
