2fat2fly 0 #2 February 23, 2007 Yep, any time you see a Chevy speedometer on 120-you know it's brokeI am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
moodyskydiver 0 #3 February 23, 2007 Done. The speedometer on my 2003 Chevy Sliverado died several months ago.Its stuck on 120 constantly now.GMC wants $500+ to fix this increasingly common failure.Complaint has been filed with NHTS and I'm hoping enough people will bitch to get it recalled. cocheese 0 #4 February 23, 2007 My 2002 works fine. I would just like to complain about the tail gate latch and the console latch. Other than that, best truck i ever owned. Oh and the rotors suck.
d20111 0 #5 February 23, 2007 Boy, I hope the tailgate latch is not a problem too! I just had it not latch the other day, but shutting it again got it...I'll have to watch out for that. I was holding out for a recall on the speedometer, but GM customer service got me to take it in thinking they were going to cover it...I ended up paying $250 for the IP and intermediate shaft fix. ACMESkydiver 0 #7 February 23, 2007 Yup, 2003 Chev Suburban. You can see the pic here. I used my extended warranty with Geico to fix it...still cost me $250. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
