GARYC24 3 #1 March 2, 2007 Have a chance to go to one of these: $125 w/dinner former Secretary of State James A. Baker $65 w/dinner Senator Edward Kennedy At Ronald Reagan Library, Simi Valley, Ca. I’ve always wondered what these things would be like, I may choose Kennedy’s.(just maybe) However, I don’t own a suit. Anyone ever been to such things? TheBachelor 4 #6 March 2, 2007 I've been to the Library to see Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, and Condolezza Rice. All were interesting speeches, and a nice dinner. Don't own a suit. Well, you'll be in the minority, but this is California, so you won't be the only one without a jacket...There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
Snowwhite 0 #7 March 2, 2007 Last year, I had lunch with about 200 other people and Alan Greenspan one day, and the next day 200 people and Hillary Clinton. If the food hadn't have been free, I wouldn't have gone to either. I wore the same old used suit to both dinners. btw. Alan Greenspan was more more informative than Hillary.skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
