simplyputsi 0 #1 April 24, 2007 Ok, so let me get your take on this situation. I've been given the opportunity to spend a year house sitting a more than million dollar house, free. Yes no utilities and no rent. Place has a afinity pool and everything. My problem is this. I own a dang condo and well it's not like it really matters, I'd actually save money not using the utilities there. However I have a roommate that pays me rent, and if we move for a year I would be out that rent. So it kind of would cost me. However having a sweet friggen house with a pool is just begging me to do it. Oh and it's only like 2 miles from where I live today so that isn't really a problem.Skymama's #2 stalker -

yardhippie 0 #3 April 24, 2007 If I were in your shoes, I'd look at: will I be in a financially better position at the end of the year? yes - Damn straight I'd do it. No - I wouldnt do it. Oh, and a million bucks dont buy you a mansion here in ATL, it buys you a house with a pool. Jewels 0 #4 April 24, 2007 Why can't the roommate stay in your condo while you're living the high life? Is this roommate more than just a roommate? (Sorry--we must've all been typing at the same time.)TPM Sister #

simplyputsi 0 #8 April 24, 2007 I could be financially better off, but not much I'd say. The roommate actually is the one that has the offer, but he said he would only live there with other people. He just wants someone to take care of his dog. No he is just a room mate!!!!!! Oh and I don't know the exact value, but it's on paper mill where if you got in early for a million dollars or slightly more you could have a pretty sweet house. I guess my problem is moving all my clothes and junk over there. It's like ahhhh what for, if I need something I'll just stop by and get my stuff. But what a pain that could be. ugghhhhhSkymama's #2 stalker -

I'm available but you'll need to get your own GF...this door doesn't swing that way. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. BelskyBlueEyes 0 #14 April 24, 2007 All I can say is send me a message when you have the party! I went to a party at a million dollar home off Paper Mill. It was suh-weet. Even had it's own miniature golf course setup. Doesn't have to be a big party, invite people you know would be respectful of others property, that's all. That is what I'm talking about, thus my dilemma. Parties for a year is all I can think of. Specially in the summer. I'll have to talk more with the room mate about this.Skymama's #2 stalker -
