Do you think it is possible to love someone but not be in love with them? Explain your reasoning too if you would like to. Since she is a female and has a certain opinion about on it and I am a male I'd like to seperate the two in this poll if you would please. This is my poll so please humor me. I think it's not only possible, but normal to love someonebut not be in love with them; furthermore, I think it can apply to both sexes. Love often times does not (or atleast doesn't have to) imply a sexual undertone. For example, I'm very close with a female friend of mine; I can honestly say that I love her, however she's married, so obviously our love isn't in a partner/sexual conotation. Likewise, I know my best friend for nearly 18 of my 26 years (he's 22) and also love him (it's like we're brothers) his family is like my extend family.
