Require license for monkey pet?

Is there any names of state require or not require license for own monkey as pet? ANY kind of monkeys. I have been think about to have Spider (White-Face) monkey someday.

Monkeys make lousy pets!

In Vietnam we adopted a spider monkey as a mascot.
He was funny as hell until he discovered that the pot stashes had seeds in them and all the potheads were wanting his head on a platter after that.

Why would you want a pet that just shits everywhere and smears it all over the walls??

They're cute to handle for a short time, but you'll get tired of it pretty quickly.

that is considered an exotic pet and every state makes you have a license for one. you can't even get one without a license.

Getting a monkey is stupid though unless you want something that is like a human baby. Also realize that come sexual maturity time your monkey will fight you for dominance
