skydemon2 0 #1 July 25, 2007 Why is it I get a "Dangerous web site" warning when I come to DZ.com now? Address: http://ads.adbrite.com/mb/text_group.php?sid=385020&zs=3436385f3630 Category: Spyware Suggestion: Close your web browser window and do not reopen this web site. ----------------------------------------------------------- I tried to post this in the Security/scam forum but apparently the "post new" botton is broken and I cant post there? Are we being hit by spyware when using this site? I come here a few times a week and this is something new.Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone! PhreeZone 15 #4 July 25, 2007 Its not coming from this site. You are infected by Spare and need to clean it from your system. Try something like Ad-Aware or something else besides PC-Cillin.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Did you mean Spyware or were you referring a specific bug called "Spare"? Dougjumper 0 #10 July 26, 2007 Having the same problem and no there is no Spyware on my system. I believe it has more to do with the Trend Micro file updates. For some unknown reason everything was just fine until it automatically updated. It has to be Trend Micros programmers for Virus source code etc.
1969912 0 #11 July 26, 2007 May not apply, but at about the same time as skydemon was posting, the page was acting strange. The text and colors were wrong and the advertisement blocks at the top and bottom were just black bars that said "default". I grabbed a screenshot. It is OK now. Have not had any of the warning messages though.
