Wings / Fusion / R-Max Package

Recommended Posts

I am going to buy my first own rig, most likely it will be that package

Wings / Fusion / R-Max Package

As it costs a lot of money, i would like to hear from you what you think.

What i heard so far, WINGS is a nice harness/container

fusion is a nice main for beginners like me (70 jumps)

i dunno bout the R-max reserve

i saw that package new for 3100 including gear bag, if someone thinks i mite get it cheaper somewhere else (NEW only pls!), please lemme know!

Thanks, and blue skies! B|

My last reserve ride was on an R-Max 118 loaded "a bit heavier than the manufacturer's recommendations."
I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it opened and landed.
Based on that experience, I would cheerfully buy a more reasonably-sized R-Max ... say a 150.

i second what grue said... i'm at 70 jumps and have a fusion 210 and have an exit weight of 240. it's a great canopy. however on days w/ NO WIND, it does come in a little on the quick side and it requires that you fly it all the way in. even a little bit of wind helps a great deal. it's very docile when you want it to be but will give you lots of thrills when you wish as well. i have the same package you do except i went w/ the super raven 218 reserve... i've been very satisfied... now if we could just get george to finish those owners manuals... ;):)

I miss Lee.
And JP.
And Chris. And...
