Two daughters of the South are sipping tea.
The first says, "My daddy bought me this fine horse."
The second replies, "That's nice."

"...and a new wardrobe of gowns for formal dances."
"That's nice."

"What did yo' daddy do for you?"
"He sent me to a fine finishing school."
"What did they teach you?"

"Instead of 'kiss my ass', I now say, 'That's nice.' "

Rumor has it that you put sugar on your grits.
:D:P

You act like there is something wrong with that. :S

Grits is stick-to-the-ribs food for the soul. Grits, rice and Kraft Mac N Cheese got me through college.

My reality and yours are quite different.

Well that certainly explains a few things. ;)
I'll bring you some of the best grits you have ever tasted this weekend. These are so good they don't need sugar.

Back to Katee's original topic - I have never heard anyone say "Bless your heart" and had it actually sound sincere. Like you, I think it is all sarcasm.
Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours.

grits are just wrong.

You just haven't had shrimp-n-grits prepared well. You would definitely change your mind.

I mean, they are just a "filler," to me, like rice, and on the rare occasion I have them, to hold together the good stuff, like eggs and cheese and diced tomato.

But the shrimp & grits are definitely something you would probably enjoy - if you like shrimp, that is.

I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
