Tonto 1 #7 February 2, 2005 Gear was state of the art, for 1945! No, really... It was a round main, 28 ft C-9, with a front mount 26ft LoPo reserve. The Jump was from a C-206, reg ZS-ERI from 2500ft over Citrusdal, Western Cape, South Africa. The club was then called the "Western Province Sport Parachute Club" now known as Skydive Citrusdal www.skydive.co.za tIt's the year of the Pig. PurpleWill 1 #9 February 2, 2005 Congratulations Tonto, In that 20 years I'm sure you had a huge positive impact on skydiving in South Africa. You seem to have an opinion about everything and are always ready to dish it out with the facts to back it up. Thanks for your part in keeping me and the entire body of junior skydivers at JSC safe. There is a lot of stuff worth doing but then there is a lot of stuff worth doing instead. Tonto 1 #10 February 2, 2005 Thank you.I'm finding it's best to leave my opinions on things I know less about - like freeflying - to those who know more about them. I interact with relatively few students at JSC, with my AFF and Birdman students getting the bulk of my time, but I try and remain aproachable. Most very senior skydivers in the US are humble. I think we can all learn from that. tIt's the year of the Pig.

Congratulations and thanks for everything dude. May we all one day be able to look back and see the same kind of legacy you've left behind. Wanna race to boarding point?
